Accepting these terms

These terms cover your use of this website. By browsing it or sending us a message through one of its forms, you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

In these terms, "we" and "us" mean The Junior Job Project, and "the site" means this website.

Section 02

What this website is

The site describes what The Junior Job Project does: supervised work crews for young people ages 10 to 14 in Arkansas. It exists so that project hosts, young people, families, and would-be crew leaders can understand the programme and get in touch.

The forms here start a conversation. Sending one is an enquiry, not a confirmed booking, not a place on a crew, and not an accepted application. Anything of that sort is agreed separately, in writing, after we have spoken.

What these terms are not

These are website terms and nothing more. They are not a participation agreement, not a waiver, and not a parental consent form.

Taking part in a JJP project, whether as a host, a young person, a family, or a crew leader, is covered by its own separate paperwork that is provided at the time. Nothing on this page gives anyone permission to take part, and nothing on this page signs anything away.

The content is informational

We try to keep the site accurate and current, but what is here is general information about the programme. It is not legal, financial, employment, or safety advice, and it is not a promise about how any particular project will run.

JJP is a young organisation and the programme is still taking shape. Details described here may change, and where they do, the arrangement we confirm with you directly is the one that counts.

Section 05

Using the forms

Please send us real information, send it about yourself or about someone you are entitled to speak for, and keep it civil.

  • Do not use the forms for bulk, automated, or commercial messages.
  • Do not send anything unlawful, abusive, or deliberately misleading.
  • Do not attempt to interfere with the site or the systems behind it.

We may ignore or block submissions that break these rules, and we may keep a record of them.

Section 06

Availability of the site

The site is provided as it is. We do not guarantee it will be available without interruption, that it will be free of errors, or that a form submission will always reach us.

We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of the site at any time, including while we are still building the programme out. If something you sent matters and you have not heard back, please try again another way.

Section 07

Intellectual property

The name The Junior Job Project, the JJP mark, the tagline "Where young hands build bright futures", and the text, design, and code of this site belong to The Junior Job Project or are used with permission.

You are welcome to read the site, print a page, or share a link. Please do not copy the content for another organisation, present it as your own, or use the name or mark in a way that suggests we are connected to you when we are not.

Photographs on the site are used under licence from their owners and are not covered by that permission.

Section 09

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of this site, from anything you relied on here, or from the site being unavailable.

This clause is about the website. It does not limit anything to do with the conduct of an actual project, which is a separate matter under separate paperwork, and it does not exclude anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Counsel to set the shape of this clause: any liability cap, the carve-outs that must remain, and how it is worded given that the organisation serves minors. Confirm the split between website liability and programme liability is drawn where the insurer expects it.

We may update these terms as the organisation grows. The current version always lives on this page, with its effective date at the top, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
